DYNAMICS:
1. With theme GREAT GOD, each area has been assigned a continent from which they will feature one or several festival/s.
a. MANILA – Festival/s from Africa
b. LUZON – Festivals from Oceania
c. VISAYAS – Festivals from Europe
d. MINDANAO – Festivals from Asia
e. INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS – Festivals from America
2. The music will be mixed and prepared by the competitors and has to be submitted to the competitions team.
3. Each island / area must be represented by 30 to 50 persons (props-bearers are included).
4. Each island/area should submit a 1-minute video displaying the island/area name and battle cry. This video will be displayed in the background and looped throughout the group’s performance. The deadline for submission of videos and other requirements is on January 27, 2012.
5. Maximum time for stage performance is 5 minutes including entrance and exit. Time starts once choreography starts and ends immediately after the last movement. 3 points will be deducted from the total score for every minute or fraction thereof in excess of the allotted time.
6. Movement should not be vulgar or sexually suggestive.
7. Costumes and props must be decent and proper for the presentation. Non-compliance will result in the group’s disqualification.
8. The performers must signify their presence one hour before the competition and show up at least one hour before their performance.

D A N C E (COUPLE COORDINATORS)
MECHANICS
1. Eligibility. The competition is open to all CFC serving in SFC. Each Philippine Island (Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao), International Missions Representative and Metro Manila Missions Representative is allowed to have one (1) to five (5) couples per entry in this competition.
2. Dance. Dance is pre assigned.
a. Manila – Dance from the 21st Century (2000-2010’s)
b. Luzon – Dance from the 70’s
c. Visayas – Dance from the 60’s
d. Mindanao – Dance from the 90’s
e. International Missions – Dance from the 80’s
3. Duration of performance. Maximum time for performance is three (3) minutes.
4. Logistical Requirements. The organizing committee will only provide guitar amplifiers and sound system. Any other musical instrument and requirements should be brought by the performers.
5. Costume. Costumes must be decent and proper.
6. Disqualification. The Competition Committee reserves the right to disqualify the group on the following grounds:
a. If the talent act has subliminal and vulgar lyrics/language or sexually suggestive movements.
b. If the costume is indecent and improper.
7. Call time. All competing groups must signify their presence one hour before the start of the competition. They should show up at least one hour before their scheduled performance time. This competition will be on Friday, Feb.17, 2012.

S H O W C H O I R
DYNAMICS
1. The competition is open to all SFC members and CFCs serving in SFC.
2. There should only be one (1) entry per PHILIPPINE ISLAND, (1) MANILA and (1) INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS.
3. A Show Choir is defined as a group of people who combine choral singing with dance movements, sometimes within the context of a specific idea or story.
4. Each AREA has an assigned genre from which they can choose their song/s for the performance.
a. MANILA – Music from Movies
b. LUZON – Music from Sports (Olympics, World Cup, Regional Sports)
c. VISAYAS – Music from Boy Bands and Girl Bands
d. MINDANAO – Music from TV Series
e. INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS – Music from Cartoons (Disney, Pixar, etc)
5. The storyline/theme must be in line with the theme of the ICON (Great God).
6. Each group must be composed of at least 30 members. They can be a combination of singers, dancers and instrumentalists. Three (3) points will be deducted for every person in deficiency of the provision.
7. Entries must also be composed of MIXED performers – brothers and sisters (there should be more than 10 brothers or sisters in the group).
8. The members of the show choir should demonstrate the ability to sing their chosen music.
9. The members of the show choir should demonstrate the ability to add movement or choreography to their performance that complements the music.
10. The members of the band/instrumentalists in the show choir should demonstrate the ability to arrange, mix and play their musical score.
11. Use of props is highly encouraged to develop the visual aspect of the performance.
12. The group is responsible for bringing their own musical instruments.
13. Lyrics should be wholesome and not sexually suggestive or vulgar. The song can be in the form of fast-paced or slow-paced pieces.
14. The song rendition or medley should not exceed five (5) minutes. There will be a one-minute grace period for entrance and another minute for the exit.
15. Costumes are highly encouraged to add up to the total performance however, it must be decent and proper for the performance. The COMPETITIONS COMMITTEE deserves the right not to allow the performance of a group due to costume technicalities.
